Subdivisa would approach landowners of a locally significant amount of land and ask them if they are interested in sectioning off the part of the land that they want to keep in order to sell the rest. Since doing so requires an official subdivision of the property (which costs money in survey and engineer work, as well as fees to the local government), Subdivisa would offer to manage the process and pay all the fees in exchange for a small (10-15%) parcel of buildable land. The process would be free to the landowner, and any of the process’s headaches and risks would be placed on Subdivisa. The costs of the subdivision process would be offset by the value of the parcel of land, making the process profitable and a solid solution for all parties involved.
